I understand being understaffed, and having the majority of people having court orders to be there (the people who hide their meds and sell them, or trade them with others, the people who transfer straight from jail, or the homeless that just use it as a vacation in the winter). I can even understand what is going on with the last class of the day being a "fun class" that hits your insurance to watch low budget action movies to keep the people who don't want to be there under control. Malachi is the best !!! He helps whenever you need something and is always there to listen. He's not just there for a check, he genuinely cares and does his best to meet your needs. LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM!!!!!!!! I'd give more than 5 STARS if I could

Nurses are willing to just watch you struggle. Came from NC and had a 7 day detox setup. They took 3 days to even order my medication. They gave me 10mg of Valium which is like 1/4 MG of Xanax. I started deteriorating quick and they gave me Ativan a couple times. Had to be in really bad shape to even get it. I'll never put myself in this situation again. BHT techs were friendly but unable to help any client they saw struggling because nursing don't do their job. Had to threaten to leave to even get help

If you're detoxing from opiates, they allow MAT and Subs. Detoxing from benzos is life threatening, along with alcohol. No meds for 3 days until I shook so bad, they gave me one Ativan. It wore off in less than 3 hours and I was right back in bad shape. Went home and tapered myself - by day 7 they have transport setup.
