Don't go here or trust your loved ones to these sick ppl! They left me out in the cold after SENDING ME a Uber coming hours away in the middle of the night. I went from wanting sobriety to having a mental break in a near by parking lot and planning my next drink.
I would never send anyone I cared about here. Specifically this location in Radford VA. I've heard their other locations are not as terrible. I submitted formal complaints to my health insurance regarding my treatment here and hoping others will do the same. This place should not be an option. The food was mostly from a can. Canned veggies. Canned fruit. Canned soup. I was told my insurance was paying $15 for meals and I was given maybe $3 of crap from a can. Is no one watching this place? Worst treatment center, do not take your loved one here. They allowed a person who was detoxing to get away with running and and high kicking a door into another patient causing the other human being to be injured terribly. That person now has a torn rotator cuff! They didn’t send the person to be seen at the hospital immediately. This facility is understaffed for nurses and bht's. There are times you may sit in the living area a not se either one for hours on end. The facility is nasty, there cleaning crew does bare minimum and are lazy. They teach classes and repeat the same curriculum and lessons over and over and put on Netflix during classes to passify clients. They do not allow you to vape but let employees vape in front of you causing you to crave something you can't have. It's a good place but the people that run it have there staff spread extremely thin. The food is real good! Jamie, "Big girl", Justin, Troy and every one else in the kitchen kill it! The staff that you deal with daily is mostly really good people and genuinely care. The place is rough in appearance, cleanliness and is just like jail or prison because of unnecessary, meaningless and thoughtless rules.
