Imagine, you're in a potential emergency, and the Alarm Company calls and instead of getting critical information ASAP, you're stuck in some bureaucratic security theater. I get why protocols exist, but they should have some common sense built in. Then they tell you why they make you answer the ultra secure "Secret Password Question" Because, "What if you were being held hostage and the kidnapper answers the phone? Works fine until it doesn’t. And when it doesn’t it gets ugly quickly. We couldn’t set an alarm for our location and they told us to just leave it be for a couple days. Didn’t know when they could come out to fix it. And the likelihood something would happen was low. Then have the balls to try and charge a cancelation fee when we switched to a provider that actually cares about their customers property. If they can’t support their own product why should we be paying for anything?

Moved may business and these guys billed me $279 for canceling my current contract; I threatened to cancel my other services so they waived the bogus fee but I won't be using them in the future nor in my new location.
