Very impressive hand made knives.
We met the owner when we went there. Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Had a nice selection of knives. Worth the stop!
Stopped in on a recent trip to Alaska (June 2023) and wow, this place and Paul was awesome. Spent about 30min with me and my 2 sons telling us about knifes and how he came to do this. Awesome guy, awesome place and UNBELIEVABLE knifes. Picked up a beautiful knife for myself and my son is kicking himself for also not getting one...we will likely be calling him soon to send us another. Highly recommend stopping in if possible.
As a regular customer, I keep thinking Paul will give me stock options! 😉 he is a craftsman and an artist. His knives are meant to be used and are beautiful and balanced. If you visit the peninsula of Alaska, you need to stop and take a look. Just a peek of what I’ve brought home. ❤️
Paul Walsh is a gentleman, artisan, craftsman, expert knife maker, and great raconteur, in addition to having a wonderfully friendly and beautiful large Munsterlander dog. His shop is a joy to visit and his conversation is entertaining and knowledgeable. My husband Ted and I recently stopped in on our way home to Anchorage from a few days in Homer.
