The staff is friendly but the policy’s they have in place are insane I understand why the island is covered in trash they make it next to impossible to dump anything. Two days and 300 bucks to get rid of a boat. At least everyone is kind.
I am a resident of Nanakuli homestead located on the opposite side of the mountainside of which PVTLand Fill is located. I’ve lived in the same home for nearly 30 years and just since 2010 to present I notice there are fine reddish brown dust that blankets everything in my home, on my car, even noticed it covered all of my neighbors vehicles. I live near the landfill and theres constantly dust flying on our houses and in our homes. It gets on everything.
