A few years ago, when I was 7-months pregnant with twins, Dr. Puttler misdiagnosed actual contractions as Braxton-Hicks. I ended up driving myself to the hospital and having an emergency c-section that same night... after he took over 2 hours to get to the hospital. I switched doctors and went for a yearly checkup after giving birth and learned I had an extra stitch. Very sad to learn that happened to me without my knowledge. In this day and age the husband stitch should never occur! Hopefully this doesn't happen to you. Just ask questions if you tear during your delivery. Beside this messed up incident that will affect me probably forever, during pregnancy he was a good doctor. His suggestions during my delivery led to a healthy baby being born
Dr. Puttler is a very knowledgeable, considerate, and wonderful Doctor. He takes time, without rushing you, to listen to any concerns you may have. He delivered 2 of my children via a repeat c-section and is hands down the best surgeon. He's always readily available, no matter what hour it is, if you have any issues or medical concerns. The office staff is absolutely amazing. They always make you feel warm and welcome, almost like family! You can tell Dr Puttler truly loves what he does
Gave me a lecture about how I needed to change my birth control method while he had his fingers inside me and my feet in the stirrups. Described me as "slender" in my health records. I left a review of this encounter several years ago, but it has since disappeared.
Dr. Puttler delivered both of my children via C-Section, with one being a high risk pregnancy. He is very knowledgeable and compassionate! I highly recommend him!
Misdiagnosed a uterine fibroid and insisted on putting me on a variety of birth control medications, even after I told him I'd had trouble with them in the past. He wouldn't consider options other than medication, and eventually I went to another doctor for help.
