Putnam makes the best rolling ladder hardware out there. We were building a 25’ long coat rack/ cubby system for a historical building and cheaper aluminum hardware wouldn’t look correct. I’ve used plenty of cheaper hardware in the past and it’s fine for many applications. But if heavy duty, classy, bombproof hardware is needed, I’d go with Putnam. While remodeling a house, I wanted to give the living room more of a library feel; after doing some massive built ins they just needed a rolling library ladder. Enter Putnam and Jenny V.; she understood my vision, recommended a model that fit my needs (1 ladder; 2 rails) and found a complimentary color scheme that would work nicely. This is our third library ladder from Putnam and they are like works of art We worked with Danny to customize a ladder system for our whiskey room and he was nothing short of amazing—so helpful and kind. The ladder totally made the room. We went with polished brass and walnut and the combination is magical together trust me on this one! Putnam ladders are iconic for a reason. They’re beautifully made with impeccable craftsmanship and detail. They just feel like a forever kind of thing 🥹 Can’t recommend them enough!!
