called 10 minutes before their hours for the day ended and when i told them i was returning a doctors call the woman on the answering service gave me a whole attitude.
There are so amazing doctors at this practice. Dr. Josephs is everything - affirming, kind, open to new ideas, brilliant, thorough. The nurses are hit or miss due to turnover but I've found generally competent. However, the administration and office management is absolutely abysmal. They take long lunches, close early, don't return calls. It's especially maddening when you are juggling work and a sick kid trying to make appointments. All 3 of my kids (5, 6, and 1 months) go here & have see Dr Jospehs whom I LOVE. She’s amazing BUT the practice itself is horrible. They go on lunch from 12-1 but won’t turn back on their phones until 2pm…. They close at 5pm but turn off their phones at 4:45….. I had an appt scheduled for 8:30am, the doctor (not joesphs) didn’t come into the room until 9:20am YOUD THINK a nurse would come check in and explain or the doctor would apologized but no…. & this has happened to me Multiple Times recently & it’s super frustrating co... read more
Please do not let the 1 stars turn you away. I was hesitant about going here with my 6 month old. We saw Dr. Werge. The MA, nurse and Dr were all amazing. They were all so sweet. Even the front desk receptionist was nice. Seems like they have some new staffing. However, the receptionist at the main enterance, could have been a little nicer and not on her phone. But she was enough to give me direction on where to go.
When it comes to finding care for your child, it's important to pay attention to reviews. I consider myself realistic, patient, and generally trusting of professionals, especially in areas where I’m not an expert. But you really only see the quality of care when your child is sick. My final straw with them came when my son developed oozing sores on his legs. During three separate visits, the doctor spent about five minutes with us each time (2 separate doctors).
