I felt unheard, ignored, and disrespected. When trying to explain myself I was interrupted and not aloud to explain myself or what I meant. I am 82 years old and I sometimes confuse my words when I get flustered this doc would not allow me to back track and fix my sentences. I left feeling like a defeated five year old. I have canceled any further appointments that were set and I have found a new neurologist. She needs to learn to listen or take a class in bed side manner!
The doctor never reviewed my notes before getting there. Thought I was there for the completely incorrect reason. I feel like she just gave me a “diagnosis “just to have something. She did nothing for me and sent me on my way. Never truly addressed the issue at hand I was just doing what I was told to do in the chain of command.
