We hired Steve to come fix a pipe in the basement for 1/1/16 at 2pm. I received a text at 1:20pm asking if he could "come by tomorrow?" I didn't see that until the appointment time. Mind you we had also stayed home and skipped a New Years Day lunch that we had been invited to because of our appointment with Steve. Anyways, we said yes and he said he could be here at 10am on 1/2/16. It's now 11:45am and he never called and never showed. Shady Steve. Nice guy but not professional at all. No business card. Not very clean worker. Steve installed my sump pump and it took maybe three weeks at the most that it just kept running with water coming up. So I call Steve Olson back to come take a look at it. Well my pipe frozen he defrost it and wrap it up with insulation. Very next day my sump pump went back to running all day and making noises. So I call a professional plumber that wore shoe cloth to not mess up the floor. Had a business card. And clean up very well ... read more

We had Steve come out and install a tank less water heater about a month later we noticed a small leak. We have called him 3 times to come out and fix it. 3 times he has said he will come out and fix the problem only to no show all three times. The first time he pretended not to know anything about it. Steve Olson installed a hot water heater. The connections were loose and leaked gas for 8 months until I noticed. He warranties the installation for 12 months, I called him after 8 months. He committed to coming out and fixing it 3 times. I took off time from work twice waiting for him. He never called to cancel. He just never showed. I called him many times. He was very nice and quick. He came out the same day I called. He came out and knew immediately what he needed. Ran up to Lowes and came back within 20 mins. The water tank was installed within the hour. Hes seems very passionate about his work. He understood my safety concern with carbon dixiode because he has kids. I didnt want any leaks. A year ago, he came out the same day i called and installed a gas line for my new dryer and again he was quick and very nice. Not very professional! We contacted Steve Olson from Purity Environmental Plumbing to install a sump pump in our basement to alleviate water seeping in our basement walls. He came out and installed the sump pump with no problem... however only a few weeks later and it is leaking at the pipe and there is still water seepage in the basement walls.
