Might be the best outdoor experience in Massachusetts so far, it’s a really easy if because it’s not a long walk but at the same time quite challenging with a lots of step rocks, cracks and crevices

Absolutely love this place, been coming for years and will definitely return. The hike is so unique in this area and I absolutely love to climb up and down and explore every nook and cranny. There are also some really cool minerals including mica and quartz all over the trails, which were very cool to look at.

A must visit destination in Massachusetts. Pictures do not do this amazing site justice. You have to experience Purgatory Chasm for yourselves. There is nowhere else in Massachusetts like this. Seeing the towering rocks is jaw dropping. The hike itself is also fairly quick and not far from the parking lot. Please be careful as you traverse the trail!
