Tried my first float today to overcome final exam stress. Even though my monkey brain didn't want to completely shut off I still felt profound relaxation afterward. Currently hanging out in the lounge area, enjoying the bright sunshine. Yay, endorphins!
My experience yesterday doing the float was interesting. Since I’ve floated in the Dead Sea in Israel, it reminded me a lot of that. You have the option of lights off in pitch blackness or with an LED light. The one I was in was Epsom salt with water. The ratio of one to the other was perfect so you couldn’t sink even if you wanted to. Though my mind couldn’t shut down, it was very relaxing and I felt like a lot of bad juju was released from me. ...and this was how I chose to spend my b-day. Think about it, 48 years ago I was floating inside my Mom's belly waiting to be born. So for me this float was very meaningful. It was as if I was back inside once again. I thank everyone at PuRest Float for allowing me to experience such a spiritual moment. I was truly reborn. The place is very relaxing and clean.
