Gar did a nice job of walking me through the application. He went over all the menu items and answered any of the questions I had. It was a little problem with feedback on his end but that did not stop the presentation. Thank you Gar.
We were bait and switched about the powerwall's inability to back up a second panel. After installation we realized they didn't put the central heat pump on panel 1 and now we have no HVAC during an outage and they want to charge us $500 to resolve their error... At this point I wouldn't recommend purelight because of the poor planning and communication that led to the bait and switch, the poor execution of the wiring, and the refusal to make it right by fixing the mistake without a massive charge.
7/07 updates: called customer support on 7/3 and been told that brach will reach out to me to schedule another fix by end of day on 7/3. Nothing happened on 7/03. Called customer support today (7/07), and been told the same thing, branch will reach out by 7/07... 7/02 updates: the crew came yesterday and fix the issue. Now it's broken again as of this morning. 2 out of 3 solar strings are not sending any power, exactly same issue as day one. Will need to call and schedule a fix again. :( 6/30 updates: the issue was not fixed... read more
Purelight Power was polite, professional and, in general, wonderful to deal with.
Wonderful company, took longer than I wanted, but that is super typical with dealing with city permitting. Would recommend!
