Just filed bankruptcy. Owners now living the high life in Bend Oregon while laying off all their employees 4 days before Christmas. Applications monitoring solar systems now off line so if you’re having a problem you probably won’t even notice until your power bills start going up. Service warranties now void so have fun fixing any problems.
Don't sign the contract without having a thorough review of the KW! I recommend reviewing with a HVAC specialist and/or your attorney. The Purelight Power representative, James, rated my home at about 6,500 KW annually and I believed him. I didn't know how to read my bill, more so didn't ever bother with knowing the technicalities. Started out ok but assessment was problematic and after we had our assessment finally done they canceled our agreement with no formal explanation. Sent a text saying our roof wasn't strong enough which is not true since multiple houses in our neighborhood have same builder and roof. We attempted to reach out for an actual conversation and no one would return our calls to discuss in more detail. We believe they possibly under bid our proposal and didn't want to continue. Purelight Power made going Solar w/ a whole home battery backup from Franklin incredibly easy. They handled everything from start to finish, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free. Everyone I worked with was helpful, professional, and great to communicate with. After the install, they had my system turned on within a week and even set up all the monitoring apps for me so I could track everything right away. Biggest financial mistake we have made. I see that every complaint seems to include a response that points them back to their contract. At the end of the day, the complaint is that we were told one thing.. and trusted the person telling us these things, and got another.
