How a so-called reputable flight school can blatantly & knowingly break traffic pattern altitude as well as direction rules is just mindblowing. The pilot's excuse of "well there's nobody here" when a fellow pilot tried to encourage them to obey the rules is beyond comprehension. So a driving instructor knowingly blows through a red traffic light because "there's nobody there"??? Then the pilot becomes aggressive & rude when he's told that tiny helicopters without ADS-B out make right traffic for 22 at KMMV?

I completed my commercial multi-engine add on rating at Pure Flight and it was everything I had hoped for and more! Their well maintained Piper Apache was a very cool airplane to fly and had some upgraded avionics (two G5s and the GNX 375 I believe) which I enjoyed since it was a combination of the avionics we see today, and still had the old airplane feeling that gives you the true multi engine flying experience. I’m a high time airline guy transitioning to helicopters and was looking for some advanced training in the CABRI G2. I contacted Pureflight and told them what I wanted and they set me up with a three day training program. The staff, instructors, helicopters and facilities were OUTSTANDING! Also, I was able to observe their fixed wing, single and multi engine, training and that also appeared outstanding. I highly recommend them for any of your training needs and I’ll definitely be back.

I had a great experience getting instruction in the Cabri G2 helicopter. The instruction was first rate, and the location is perfect - a small airport with very little traffic, but near other airports and stunning places to practice making for many different flight experiences. I ended up buying a Cabri and Pureflight organized getting it ferried from Oregon to Florida. It was a pleasure dealing with Alison and her instructors. I highly recommed Pureflight!

I traveled here to get my commercial multi-engine add on based a recommendation from another Army pilot who had just done the same and came away incredibly impressed. This is one of the best places to get flight training in the PNW, and by far the best to do a multi add on. They have incredible instructors, their maintenance is fantastic, the management is top notch, and they work with multiple DPE's to make sure students are taken care of.
