So let me start with the Stain is great. The pure shield (it’s their clear coat) DO NOT BUY go with Bona. I was excited about helping a small company and then I felt good about the reassurance when they said contact us with any problems and we WILL make it right. Well… nope I contacted them about the pure shield that it has a whitest tint even when dried it’s absolutely terrible looking on a dark stain. This is my first time ever staining something, and I'm really happy I went with this brand! I was able to stain and clear coat in the same day, in my garage with the door closed, and wasn't worried about my cats poking around! Plus this stuff managed to stain white MDF board that I lightly sanded. Definitely only using this stuff going forward; it was just like using paint!
