My first time visiting Pure Terror Scream Park, and overall, I had a really good time. The experience consists of 10 haunted houses back-to-back, It took us about 90 minutes to complete. There were definitely some good jump scares, and the atmosphere was perfect for getting into the Halloween spirit! My only criticism is that I felt some of the houses relied too heavily on props rather than live actors. 5 star for set design! Haven't been back since it first opened. This place is mostly about the sets and worth every penny. Some of the mannequins were so real it was hard to tell. If they can figure out moving eyes in some of these the terror would go up 10x. Tip - but the RIP ticket if you value your time. Most people were waiting 2 hours. If your young that's a lot of the fun. If your older like Sweet Brown says...ain't no time for that!
Lots of great, realistic looking props. Limited on scare actors in sections..One house was just darkness and loud music. Not scary, Simply uncomfortable to navigate because its pitch black. That section could've been improved. Otherwise most of the other locations were done up well. Scare actors there were good. Food at the end was also good, the tacos. empanadas, lemonade and deep fried oreos were awesome.
Had a great time here, the lines were in fact long but there is a porta potty in the line, but if you go to any theme park there is obviously going to be a line. I loved the animatronics and thought the actors did great. It is scary, but if you go through a haunted house with the mindset this is all fake and it’s not scary obviously it won’t be scary to you. I thought it was a great experience and exited to take the long trip down there just to visit here again this season. Still thinking about it in July.
Loved itttt!!! It was my first time and it was just amazing. I recommend coming here with friends or a big group.
