Everything was delicious! I ordered the Soul Bowl with black-eyed peas, kale, vegetables, yellow rice, avocado, and cornbread, and added the soy “chicken” for extra protein with a watermelon lemonade to drink. The flavors were fresh, comforting, and well-seasoned, and the portions were satisfying without feeling heavy. The cornbread was especially good, and I loved how balanced the whole meal felt. I’ll definitely be back to Pure Soul!
Had a great time eating here at my 11 year old’s request. I’m not a veggie but the food was delicious and the staff were all kind people. I’ll definitely be back.
Best vegan food I've had and I'm not vegan! The texture and flavor on the shrimp was incredible. The hush puppies were insane. The fish was delicious and flakey, the slay was on point and the rice was perfect. The soul rolls were great with/without the BBQ sauce. The Soul Mac was creamy and hot, but slightly turmeric-y. Not pictured -the red velvet cake which was also wonderful!
Came for the first time, staff was chill and knowledgeable enough to really help me figure out what to get for me and my kid. Food was honestly just stunningly good - rich creative flavors and deeply satisfying. Top marks all around!
This is a very nice place! Apparently folks love to eat here. The food was just okay to me. I really liked the soulfood rolls and cornbread but everything else was okay. There's parking around the building and on the street. The wait wasn't long for my food either. Indoor and outdoor seating was available.
