As someone who had never had a massage in my life, an hour with Melissa was eye-opening. My shoulders and my scapulas had absolutely no memory of their natural resting position, and Melissa's detailed knowledge of musculature and general anatomy was totally necessary to help someone as permanently-tensed as I am. I’ve had quite a few visits with Melissa in the past few weeks and my muscles have never experienced such a gentle onslaught. She’s an absolute master of applying just the right amount of pressure and noticing little changes in tension and sensitivity. The first massage table I’ve ever relaxed enough to fall asleep on. I thoroughly recommend her to anyone trying to undo years of neglect, but experience issues due to the sheer volume of damage.
