My daughter had to have 2 teeth pulled out and it was such a pleasant experience for her. They were kind, comforting, engaging with her and making sure she’s not nervous. Her teeth were numbed and we opted for the gas - bubble gum flavor- to calm her down and it worked. The procedure took little time and now we are home healing. Thank you Pure Pediatrics!
My kiddo wasn't fully anesthetized during his dental procedure! It was very painful for him! Very aggressive treatment plan!$$$ Got a second opinion and my dentist was shocked at how aggressive the treatment plan was and the prices! Very pushy trying to get me to sign for a treatment plan as my son is bleeding and I'm trying to hold the gauze in so he doesn't bite his tongue and all they could think about is me signing! Kaylin is an amazing dental hygienist. She always does really well with my daughter who is almost 4 years old. She is kind, fun, and patient. Everyone there is very friendly including the dentist Kristin!
Addendum: My original full stars review has lowered due to serious miscommunication regarding insurance coverage, which resulted in a $660 invoice for two pediatric routine cleanings. While my original words are still valuable and true, my lowered star opinion is related to transparency on insurance coverage. When inquiring about the surprise invoice, I was informed that "specific network terms are listed on page 3 of new patient documentation", which I clearly failed to read thoroughly and signed. My 3 year old had her first apt today and she did amazing! She was a little nervous but Amanda the assistant, was very bubbly and welcoming. Dr Newsom was so gentle. Being a cash pay patient, the front office was very thorough prior to my apt on what I was going to be responsible for. I can not recommend this office enough! We cant wait to come back :D
