The man who sometimes works here is so rude! My partner and I were at the Modern Chemist counter in the back, and the man came to the back to ask us to “sit and relax” while waiting for the pharmacist to fill our order. We responded, “oh, that’s okay, thank you, this should be quick”, as the pharmacist was actively filling our order, and we expected to be done in about 2 minutes. (Perfectly reasonable interaction.) The NICEST staff - sweet, courteous and helpful. Well-stocked neighborhood gem that is clean and well organized. Huge bonus: Modern Chemist in the back that is wonderful for prescription medications. They also carry Baggu items which make great gifts and wonderful French soap that I am addicted to. Can't say enough good things & I've been shopping here for years.
The comment "oh it went through" as I am checking out comes off as one thing and one thing only and, that's racist. You're implying that my card would decline otherwise? Rude.
