Not sure what happened to this place. Retracted my 5 star review from prior ownership. New owners have royally screwed this place up. 35 minutes to get a plate of brisket. Not coming back.
Im going to be honest....after the soft opening and trying the food, i thought it was another dog and pony. Mid and overpriced. We all went for my brothers funeral friday (un-announced that saw one girl on her second day MASTER IT....And the manager taking charge) with about 80 people. The restaurant was clean, food was delicious, and prices were pretty un-Boerne like for what you got. We WILL BE BACK SOON. Im SORRY FOR NOT GIVING YOU GUYS ANOTHER CHANCE SOONER, BECAUSE YALL DID AWESOME
Service and food terrible. Took 15 minutes after being sat down to get our drink order then the waitress forgot one of my drinks, messed up our food order, they ran out of ketchup..how does that happen, the brisket has no flavor and is so bland and feels like I’m gonna get food poisoning cause it taste like crap, my 8 year old didn’t want to eat his burger cause it tasted “funny” I took a bite and spit it out instantly! Today we had a fantastic lunch. The brisket tacos with fried Okra. Ok so maybe the side was different but best okra and brisket hands down!. There fries were so good, my hubby had those with a jalapeño cheese bun full of brisket! This was the best BBQ and service was spot on!
I had lunch on a Saturday. There was a baby shower (buffet style) but not that many other people. We ordered from the QR code on the picnic tables outside. My friend had to go get our drinks and got one of the disc's that buzz when the food is ready. Over a half an hour later, we went to check on our food. No alert and our food was cold. This my first time being here since new ownership and Im not impressed.
