Pure City has great food As a vegetarian family, we were thrilled to go to Pure City the first time and many times since because it specializes in vegetarian cuisine, a rarity in the Hudson Valley. Vegetarian For All Pure City is a vegetarian restaurant. I never thought I would be writing about a vegetarian restaurant, but this place is great. My daughter was a vegetarian so it was always a challenge when she came home from college, if we wanted to go out. I saw an ad for Pure City and figured, what he heck, I'll suffer one meal and give her a treat. Well, I was the one who got the treat! The way they prepare their food has an Asian slant. Some of the mushroom dishes taste like meat and the tofu dishes are outstanding.... read more
