The staff is super friendly and nice. The workouts are ok if you want to move your body and attend classes, but you're mostly on your own. The teachers occasionally check what you're doing, and in my opinion, it's more for casual exercise than serious fitness goals. The worst part was wasting hundreds of dollars because I couldn't attend many classes due to getting the flu and starting a new job. I started going to Pure Barre Short Pump back in July. The people are so welcoming and encouraging. The teachers are a great help and the front desk managers are very helpful and welcoming. Every time I go I feel welcomed. Every workout is slightly different even when it is a similar routine (which the classes are on different rotations for choreography) and I enjoy what each workout brings. I went to this class a long time ago before I moved to NY for a month. At that time, I requested the cancellation of my contract, but because they replied very late, my payment went through, and I paid $100 while I didnt use the classes because of my move to NY. After moving back to RVA after 2 tears, I wanted to give it another try.
