Lauren's Classic Barre is the best! She really targets those small muscle groups. Class size is always manageable even when its full.

Really loved this studio and it was what I needed when I started out over 300 classes ago. Most of the instructors are awesome with the one or few exceptions (you will know once you have them). But the lack of hands on corrections from many and the “cliquey-ness” that developed plus rudeness from the owners are what led me to leave. Just hit 50 classes in 12 weeks at Pure Barre Swampscott! The unlimited membership is a great value, but they also have flexible class packages. Love the variety of classes —Define class is my favorite. Full-body, low-impact workouts that deliver real toning and strength, especially in my core (which I used to hate working on!). Even with a regular fitness routine before, I’m impressed with the changes in my body and how I feel. Amazing, caring instructors—highly recommend this studio!

For me, the policy on arrival time does not work. I arrived at a class starting at 6AM right as it shifted from 5:59 AM to 6AM and found the door locked. The instructor was in the room with the class so the door was locked prior to 5:59 at least. It’s certainly a policy and stance to enforce that’s at the discretion of the studio but for me personally not having grace to be exactly on time occasionally (life happens) doesn’t work for me.
