Definitely recommend.
My second home! I love all the class formats, especially Define (the weightlifting class). The teachers and front desk people are super nice. I love that my unlimited membership at the union square location gives me access to all of the NYC locations. The challenges are also super fun and motivating!
I'm honestly surprised by the reviews on this location since my experience definitely wasn't the same. The front desk girl was lovely and so helpful but I signed up for the free trial class and the instructor did not ask if it was anyone's first time. Class went by really fast and instructor wasn't taking a moment to really explain the moves better (for a beginner like myself), at some points everyone was doing different moves and she wasn't correcting anyone. Sammi is an amazing instructor! Very clear cues and awesome energy! Such a great workout.
I love purebarre and have been to many locations. Madeline in Union Square was the best teacher I have had! She was detail oriented, great manual adjustments and her class was perfectly difficult. I feel much better than when I walked in.
