I was automatically labeled a drug abuser because I am a chronic pain patient on a pain contract who sees a licensed pain specialist and have been totally compliant I just needed a PCP for other issues. He just saw what I was prescribed and made up his mind. I asked him to please collaborate with my pain specialist to erase any concerns but he refused. I have never been treated so horribly in my entire life
He's been my doctor for a couple years now. All he cares about is the money. He spends less than 5 minutes with you. Same thing every time no matter what you're in there for. Gets his stethoscope out listens around you for a little bit looks in your ears, nose and mouth and that's it.
He completely contradicted the diagnosis I was given by another doctor even though it was proven and then he was so rude! I’ve never been treated so terribly.
Yelled at me while I was in the examining room, suggesting that my illness was imaginary. I was later diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and cancer. Complete jerk, shouldn't be a physician.
Dr. Purdy is an excellent doctor. He has been our family doctor for over twenty-one years. He explains diagnoses and answers questions well. His humor and kindness with my kids helps put them at ease. I will continue to trust Dr. Purdy for my entire family's medical needs.
Purdy likes to write prescriptions, but demonstrated no concern about my actual health and condition. After leaving his care and seeking additional help, I learned much of what he "sold me" was out-dated, irrelevant and simply used to keep me on meds. 3 years after seeking actual care, I am med-free and medical condition in manageable order. Worst doctor I've experienced. Disgusted that I didn't seek better care sooner.
Been with Dr. PURDY FOR 34 YEARS. I TRUST HIS JUDGEMENT AND HE HAS NOR LET ME DOWN.
Terrible doctor wouldn't listen to me when I told him both my parents had died from cancer he want to test me when I had horrible horrible swelling in my legs and arms he wouldn't check to see what it was. And when I came to him to find out what it was he had a urine test that came up positive for drugs and wouldnt to do further testing. Despite my telling him I wanted him to because I knew I wasn't on drugs he then cut me off my medications without doing any further testing like I asked him to.
