These People Have NO HEART I made the mistake of going into this store just to look at the puppies. I feel in love with a beautiful bulldog girl, for whom they were asking $2400. Bulldogs are never cheap, but $2400 is crazy. I asked for her breeder name, which they gave me and assured me it was a reputable breeder & also told me she was APR registered. We bought TWO GENETICALLY DEFECTIVE PUPPIES from them!!! We purchased a chihuahua from Puppyworld in June, 2009 for $1000. About 4 months after having her, she stopped using her left rear leg. We took her to the vet to find out that she has a genetic condition called a luxating patella, which means that her patellar groove is too shallow to hold the ligament in place while she walks. Disgusted We purchased two puppies form Puppy World back in October. The establishment seemed nice and clean. They were very friendly and willing to work on us with prices. One question was asked as to how they obtain the puppies and the question was answered with, a private breeder of which they know the name. Puppy mill puppies They will deny the fact that they purchase their puppies from puppy mills til the death. But, if you actually purchase a puppy from them and do the research on where your puppy actually came from, you will find out quickly that it was indeed from a puppy mill. These are dishonest people doing dishonest business, and they charge a whole lot for it! I urge you to please do not support this business! Buy from the humane society or private breeders!
Sheree I just don't understand how naïve people can be regarding Pet Stores that sell puppies. You may have had a decent experience but do you ever consider what the parents of these puppies are going thru so that you can buy a puppy. These puppy mill parents live in horrific conditions. Worst place possible Wish you could give negative stars! Stupidly bought a puppy here, a beautifle white german shepherd puppy. We were concerned about prey drive as we already have smaller dogs. Was assured repeatedly that would not be a problem, since the puppy was growing up with the pack, she would fall into place. Unfortunately they obviously would tell you the dog could fly and give you a convincing argument and story to go with it. My fault for listening. Same old story lies They have been lying to folks for years telling them they buy from families who have been in the business for years NOT They do buy from a broker in casanova, wisconsin by the name of ester schulter she is USDA and has like 50 amish families up there breeding dogs behind and in dairy barns she buys them for $100 a piece and sells them them to poopy world for like $175 and YOU buy them for $799.95 This has been going on for like 20 YEARS.
PuppyWorld I purchased a Toy Poodle Shih Tzu Mix dog and have had him for 9 years. He is perfectly healthy and a very sweet and affectionate dog. I was not over charged and would recommend PuppyWorld to anyone.
puppy world diaster WHY...WHY..Would you buy from a puppy mill??? My daughter bought her dog there 3 weeks ago, before telling her family, and yes, the puppy at 8 wks, had worms, and kennel cough!! Do your research, check the BBB, and stay away from Puppypwrld PLEASE!!!
