About this business

We sell PUPPIES and KITTENS! All of our puppies and kittens are from local families. None are shipped in from out of state. We do not post prices of puppies and kittens. Prices can change. We do sell pets from $25-600 base price. Then we add tax, health warranty and returnable deposit for spay/neutering. We warrant their health for 60 days and return spay/neuter deposit after we see proof that you had your pet spa... read more

Good value I purchased my first dog, a Doberman Pinscher, from the Puppy Place in 2004, and my second dog, a Miniature Pinscher, in 2005. In both cases, I went around town and looked at a few "breeders" and some other pet stores, and I concluded that the value for the price of these dogs could not be beat. Does it suck that you don't get AKC papers for them, yes. Is the place a little hole in the wall, yes. Is the price of $400 way less expensive than the pet store in the mall, absolutely. Both dogs were healthy and have mat... read more

World Class Business I recently purchased my second dog from the puppy place and once again had a great experience. Too all of you who had health problems with your dogs, you may be misinformed about PUPPIES. When puppies are young and have not had a complete set of vaccinations they are incredibly prone to MANY diseases, just like human babies, they have little to NO immume system. They can pick them (diseases) up from ANYTHING... visitors, parks, pet stores, other animals ect. Anytime there are a number of puppies in a sma... read more

Puppy Mill at best Disease-ridden puppy that I was able to get back to health. This puppy was abandoned with its litter (I followed the litter to the Puppy Place), but they tried to tell me they were from a known good home, etc. The only reason I bought my puppy there is because of where the litter ended up. If they'd ended up in the shelter they would have been a lot better off. Dirty, irresponsible, and dishonest? Not a good combo for the welfare of animals.

Our little Sophie I have to agree with one of the reviewers who pointed out that the people who complained about The Puppy Place did not purchase an animal there. I'm basically anti-pet store. I'm from California which outlawed selling pets through pet stores completely. I took a chance with The Puppy Place. Yes, the kitties have a small space, but they do in most county run rescue shelters too. The puppies have adequate space. It's not like they're going to grow up there. Sophie, our toy poddle from The Puppy Place, is a he... read more

Got a sick puppy with parvo Recently purchased a puppy from the puppy place. He got extremely sick and we just found out that he has parvo and some of the other dogs had also got parvo there. He is extremely sick right now and we are not sure if he is going to make it or not. It is not cheap to keep him alive right now but we are trying. Would not recommend getting your dog there. They will only pay up to 300 dollars for medicine. The bills are going to cost a lot more than 300 though.

Not worth it Many years ago my mother purchased a "Toy Poodle" from the Puppy Place. As most, she got very ill. Yes, having so many puppies around means there's a higher chance of the dogs getting ill. Our puppy didn't get parvo or any of the other typical puppy diseases, she was very badly bred and had genetic problems. She died before she turned a year old. My only problem with the Puppy Place is that they charge so much for these puppies that no one can prove have decent bloodlines, so why purchase there when you can get ... read more

I have purchased from The Puppy Place! I have been a visitor to The Puppy Place for many years. I finally fell in love with a toy poodle and bought him.. He has been such a joy to our family and I continue to go there (just to see). I would purchase again from them if we ever were to expand our family, and I admire their business practices, as they never "dismiss" a puppy that doesn't sell quickly. They are up front and honest about their policies and prices. I recommend them highly.
