I got a wonderful mini-schnauzer girl from Marci and Sue two weeks ago. While I do believe they are the exception to the rule, I cannot say enough good things about Puppy Love Pets. I was given a full tour of the facility without having to ask. There was NO smell of urine, feces OR bleach (a sure sign of a hasty clean up by a puppy mill). There were no flies. My baby girl is well adjusted, and healthy except for an ear infection which are common place in any place there are multiple dogs. Marci and Sue were absolute delights... read more

I have mixed feelings about this breeder. I got a nice puppy, but when I took her to the vet I was told that she had ringworm, coccidia and a yeast infection in her ears. The ringworm, I was told, is normal. However the coccidia and yeast infection I was told are products of puppies being raised in an unsanitary environment. The kennel did look okay, but the smell was not great at all. I was told that she breeds her dogs 3 times every 2 years and breeding starts when females are 1.5 years old. We went back for our second schnoodle two years after we got our first one from them! Marci & Sue are professional and take their business seriously. Weve been up there several times and the kennels have always been clean and the puppies & dogs well taken care of. They adore the dogs and make sure that new owners have lots of information. Drove all the way from Tampa to get our puppy from this breeder. The facility is clean and well managed. Yes, it is a business, but these folks love all the animals, and treat them well.We were in constant communication with Marci. She was always up front and honest. Said if you want a puppy, please leave a deposit, the puppy of your choice will be here; and, yes, we left a deposit and our puppy was there, clean, healthy and beautiful. Our puppy was a Maltipoo. RUN AWAY from these breeders. They are only in it for the money. We had an appointment to see a dog at 11:45, spoke to Marci at 10:30 to confirm the dog was available and that we were on our way and were VERY INTERESTED in getting her, drove an hour to the kennel only to be told when we got there that they had JUST sold her. I understand that this is their business, but they really should have held her since she knew we were on our way. Then, she tried to push another breed on us. It was terrible. Would be very careful choosing a puppy next time. We got a Westie in June 2008, its been a bit over a year and I lost count how many times Ive been to the vets and how much money we spent. When I called Puppy Love Pets and asked what food do they give to their Westies and if my dogs parents had any allergies, they told me that they stopped breeding Westie 2 years ago and she couldnt remember selling Westies last June.

We bought our Bella a beautiful SHIHTESE from Puppy love pets and Marci and Sue are wonderful caring breeders...I would certainly go back and purchase another pet from them and for grooming as well.

We bought our dog here, and hes wonderful. Weve had him for about a year, and hes been great. He was completely healthy when we picked him up, they groomed him nicely, and his temperament is sweet and playful. I cant rate their grooming as I only had one experience with that, but they seem to keep everything in good shape.
