Well maintained state park with plenty of good sitting and picnic areas that overlook the lake. You can also rent kayaks here and there is a marina shop onsite as well. The staff at the campground entrance are super friendly and helpful during check-in. The walk-in tent campsites have a good natural vibe and the walk to sites isn't too long. The camping area restrooms were clean and had nice showers. My only complaints are that the hiking trails are a mile up the road at the USACE facility and that they don't use animal proo... read more
Well..... I've overpaid repeatedly unless I paid on line and I've been accused repeatedly of overstaying what I've payed for... By Rita... Whoever that is.....I've watched the staff take pictures of sleeping women.... The staff hasn't changed the stinking trash cans in days... But they "clean" the bathroom 3 times an hour without cleaning anything. Oh.... Did I mention that the male staff walked into the bathroom on my wife repeatedly.... No announcement... No warming... Just casually helping themselves to a ladies bathroom.... read more
