This doctor has no business in the womens health center at St. Peters. I went in for a 6 month follow up breast Ultra sound and came out with a cyst and a mass. Luckily I moved to another state and found a place that does nothing but womens breast health. My radiologist was prepared to have to do a biopsy only to find it was two cyst not a mass. She’s so rude, I don’t know how she still has a job.
She is the most unprofessional medical professional I have ever come in contact with. I was sent to get a mammogram and ultrasound for a lump found in my breast, she said, and I quote, “I don’t know what it is, come back when you’re 40.” That was her diagnosis- “I don’t know.” She is cold, unprofessional and invalidating. I highly suggest finding literally anyone but her to help you with your radiology needs.
Like the previous review, I had a negative experience with Dr. Gupta as well. I think that Dr. Gupta just does not have much of a bedside manner. I have never felt more dismissed by a health care professional in my life. I was told that a breast doctor had to do my ultrasound due to the location. When I arrived to BJC St. Peters and was brought back, a tech performed my ultrasound, not the doctor. I had a horrible experience with Barnes St Peter's women's health facility and this doctor. I waited for over an hour to have Punita Gupta to look at ultra sound of my breast and to read it for me. She just told the nurse that it probably a cyst and had the nurse tell me to come back in a year. She said she was too behind to introduce herself and tell me in person Not to mention the fact that i was worried and scared that my mammogram was flagged. I am getting outragious bills now from this doctor and BCJ.
