I have been there on 3 different occasions, all with the same results. Of the basket full of very nice,current style , clean clothes they have only taken about 2 items. On my last visit there, out of curiosity I skimmed through the racks to check the quality of the items. I was hoping to be enlightened as to why my clothes were not accepted. I visit The Pumpkin Patch South every week. I am very impressed with how they answer the phone and give you their name. They are friendly and helpful. If they don't know a product they will look it up online. They are up front with what they have. I appreciate local and they are. I just enjoy them and their personalities definately make it an Austin favorite.
The atmosphere is very casual, non-hassle. The employees are helpful and some of them have worked there for years which is nice for comfort. The prices are always lower than other resale shops they compete with. The clothing is a great buy especially considering how fast my child grows out of them. I love them because they are an austin family owned business and they are sweet. I am continually impressed with the consistency of good used products.
They have TONES of things to choose from. They also carry furniture for your house at a good price. You can find things from Cloth Diapers to a dinning room table. If you do not have a big salary and need things for your baby or house I would suggest to go there I did.
