Pumpernickels is located in Fort Salonga and is a rather non-descript stand alone building sitting on the narrow curve of a street. To find it I had to look at other landmarks and there is a McDonalds directly across from it. Not much in the way of street parking and the front entrance ( facing the corner) was blocked by a car owned by our waitress as it turned out. ( She went out to the car somewhere during our meal) To get in you park around the back lot and there is an entrance there. Nothing fancy. Not handicapped access... read more
The spinach and artichoke dip was excellent. The sauerbraten was very good. If you want German food - this is a great choice!
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Greeted by the owner on Easter Sunday brunch. Highly recommended!
