Pulte home construction is chaotic, amateurish effort in a frustrating way. Sloppy craftsmanship, poor workmanship and coordination between sales, construction, and contractors. Regrettably, we see little effort by management to keep contractors and subcontractors accountable. Promises Made, Promises Kept should be their motto. There would be no need to repeat the work provided it is done right the first time. In definite need of process improvements.
If you're looking to build your first home and are unsure which builders to choose, avoid Pulte at all costs. They are, without a doubt, the worst builder I have encountered. Working with Pulte is like dealing with Maronda—poor quality at exorbitant prices, and the house's finish is completely unacceptable for what you pay. I strongly urge you to consider MI or Fischer Homes instead, as they deliver on quality for your investment. Once they rectify the mistakes made on my house, I'll be ready to list it for sale. We had a great experience today at Pulte design center while helping my buyers decide on their options for exterior and interior materials for kitchen, bathrooms, paint and window trims. Laura Pearson the Design Stdio Consultant, was very helpful in showing options and examples of combinations of materials and colors. She knew the materials well and made it easier for Buyers to visualize their picks. Thank you Laura.
If I could give negative stars I would. Horrible builder. Tried to finish punch list a day before closing now the house shows it . Moved in had 2 basement wall cracks and leaks with 2 weeks then discovered mold that P{lute knows is an on going issue in their new house. It covered 99 percent of our basement floor joist. Not to mention ALL cosmetic defects. All you get from Pulte team is follow the process.
