Have been to pulse hair & beauty twice, had Ebony the first time and got the k18 treatment with a layered hair cut. Absolutely loved this experience, Ebony was very welcoming and treated me with such care, definitely recommend her. Following this, I had my second appointment today for the K18 treatment with Jess, her first day and she was absolutely amazing, she was very welcoming and was very fun to have as my stylist. She was very attending and focused on my hair and recommend her!!

Went to my second appointment at Pulse Hair & Beauty and unfortunately won’t be returning. My first visit was great — the stylist was lovely and took the time to talk about my hair goals. However, at my second appointment, she acted like she didn’t know who I was, was late because she “didn’t know I was here,” and spent most of the appointment complaining about apprentices and other clients. I attended this salon today for an all-over semi colour, blow dry, and straighten — no cut and no bleaching. I was charged over $400 in total. To say I was shocked is an understatement. I’ve been getting my hair done for over 15 years and never in my life paid over $400 for such a basic service. For that price I would absolutely expect a quote up front. I had a whole hair makeover on Saturday with Eboney. Let's just say she had her work cut out for her I was a copper with alot of colour build up. She did test strands which I have never had before in any salon, an extensive consultation and set realistic expectations. I am now the closest I've been to my goal hair. She was patient and made me feel extremely comfortable and cared for. Not only did she exceed my expectations with the colour the cut was the same standard. Cannot recommend this women enough.
