I drove from SC for my appointment. I had been going there for the past 15 years, the last 2 as a SC resident. I was told they wouldn't see someone from SC since insurance wouldn't pay. What a crock.
I've been a long term pulmonary patient since childhood so I know the ropes. This last appointment and hospitalization was a breaking point for me after months of telahealth appointments, medication switches and add ons and problems not being addressed. I sat at home for 3 weeks getting worse, until I finally said screw it and went to the ER, got admitted pushed for full respiratory panel and extra X-rays and ct scans. My experience wasn’t so great after I got the sad news that my favorite nurse was fired, things don’t run as smoothly as they usually do when she isn’t there☹️
