I understand it must be hard to be an ER Dr in a college town, but the vast majority of doctors and nurses here are awful. They lack any compassion at all for their patients, their primary goal generally seems to be kicking the patient out of the ER as soon as they can, even if this means they have not treated them or do not yet know what’s wrong. I am giving them 3 stars only because on a quiet Saturday afternoon I was seen very quickly. However, the current (Feb 2026) entrance to the ER is NOT wheelchair or walker friendly at all. There is NO automatic system to open the door and since it opens outwards it leaves a would be patient to struggle to get it open while also trying to advance into the room. Took my son here for 2 suspected seizures. He was taken care of quickly and made comfortable by the hospital staff right away. After examination by Dr. Clark (who was fantastic with him) he was given a snack and sent home with a stuffed horse. ER is scary for small children, but they made sure he had a good experience. My preferred ER in the area.
Don’t come here!!!!!! Unless you want to be treated like an animal rather than a person.The doctors and nurses don’t care about your physical wellbeing. The staff here is very unprofessional and quite frankly disgusting and should have their licenses revoked. The way the doctors specifically Dr. Greggory Wallis treats patients is repulsive, my mom currently was at this ER room yesterday December 6th ,2025 at 4:00 pm she was in the waiting room with her finger bleeding out from a cooking accident she had with the knife.
