I tried before to adopt a dog from the Humane Society in Somerset, KY. Unfortunately I was escorted off the property on an Adopt-a-thon by a woman (Vickie Landel). The crazy part is, this woman does not know me at all. The only thing, I can come up with is: I was with a Lady, that this Vickie woman knows and dislikes. No explanation why I had to leave, no nice word or calm word infront of all guests and animals...nothing. She even wanted to call the police on me, just as soon as she saw who I am with. I contacted you numerous times last August about your pray/neuter clinic and put my name on your list numerous times! I just wanted to let you know that I NEVER received a callback from you! Now it’s February 2019! I was getting stray cats fixed that didn’t even belong to me!!! Your facility is a joke! You should be so proud!!! I will let everyone know your incompetence of the program you are running! Amazingly numerous people had already told me not to waste my time with you!
honest and loyal peole...i accidently put a special coin in one of their donation buckets and they mailed it back to me :)
We got our puppy here and he was well taken care of after being found as a stray! We keep in touch with them to share his progress, by request!

i support this place whole heartedly. but i do think the adoption fee is a little high for a puppy at 125.00. most people cant afford this and there for being the reason alot of these animals are not adopted.
U recommend .P.C.H.S., because they have smart healthy animals, that need a good, loving home. I adopt from them, because these animals need some love, for the rest of their life, they have been through enough already. Thanks to the shelter for helping control the pet population, and Making sure these furbabies go to loving homes Thanks P.C.H.S. 😺
