I’ve been coming here and the shop on Main Street for years. Great cuts, attention to detail and shop vibe. Make your appointments well in advance and it’s a cash only joint are my only recommendations.
I’ve had two interactions with this shop. The first was a hair in November 2021, the second was a phone call to the other location in February 2022. Sharing in case you are black and have textured, tight/coily hair and are looking for a barber. I know there are a couple people at both shops who have experience with my type of hair, but it’s not everyone. In November I got a fade and part from a barber here and it legitimately took 3 hours. This place was awesome. I called ahead, they had an opening in 40minutes. Aaron hooked it up, he listened and understood the vision. I have tried a lot of places in New Paltz/Kingston and this is going to be my new spot from now on. Cut was $40 plus an $8 tip. Very professional but laid back environment. Everyone is super friendly - highly recommend.
