Down & out on the Outer Banks Down on the OBX for a week and on day four,our Jeep fails to start. After trying to jump it with no luck, we asked a local while eating out where to go. Several of them at the table suggest Pughs Car Care. We gave them a call after walking back to the cottage and within 20 mintues, they arrived to tow us in. Later in the afternoon, we received a call from Ray telling us that a wire in the key switch had broken causing the problem and they would have the Jeep ready before 12 the next day. Great service I have a vacation house in Nags Head and every summer something goes wrong with one of our vehicles. As luck would have it , we decided to leave a day early, but the Tahoe wont start. Thinking I have a bad starter, I call Pughs and the come tow it in. In about two hours they call me and say I have a bad key switch and can fix it that day. Several hours go by and I get a call telling me its ready. When I get there, the bill was less than I was quoted. Fixed the same day and less money. It was a win-win. The crew... read more
