This review is about the culture of Pugh Concrete Co. I’m a product vendor for the concrete industry and I went onsite to do a demo for them. They probably get visits from vendors all the time but they welcomed me in, in the warmest kind of way, and it really shocked me. I thought kindness and hospitality like that died 20 years ago, but beyond being respectful and polite to me on my first visit there, they even fed me lunch as they cook lunch daily for their employees. Mrs. Evelyn was just the sweetest lady and I really enjoyed talking with her! They were nice, friendly, helpful & helped get what I needed delivered when I needed it! Happened to be leaving to go to the beach for another project and told them I couldn’t make it from Raleigh to Pittsboro for the payment because they don’t do credit cards, just cash or check only and they still helped delivered the gravel that I needed to the job-site and let me pay on Tuesday whenever I got back!
