Thank you to the man working the deli tonite. I came in and got a box of chicken to go but I didn't see any potato wedges and asked if they had any. (My husband and kids cannot eat the chicken without them) He said "No ma'am I don't have them tonite, but if you will tell me how much you want I can make them especially for you." I appreciate the special service. I wouldn't have gotten that else where!
Why is it some days I come in there and get the "Publix experience" and other days I come in there and it's no better than Walmart? I was in there a month ago talking with some ladies about my nieces shower and they were wonderful--they said they could handle the cakes and the sandwiches and fruit trays and even the flowers and said that y'all would deliver it. Just spent at least 5 minutes chatting in the parking lot with the very nice gentleman that loaded my groceries and he told me how much he loved his job! THIS is why I drive past other grocery stores to go to Publix!!
