I have to disagree. As a grocery company that claims to have the best customer service, my experience in buying chicken at the deli on January 7th at 1130am was the worst ever in any store. I was completely ignored by the deli manager and the chicken fryer for over 30 minutes, until I finally spoke to the store manager. From now own, I'll go to Walmart Deli when I am here for the winter.
Publix is how a supermarket should be --all of them. The customer service is great as is their deli and bakery. Fresh fish and shellfish are wonderful. They'll even cook them for you.
