This place is an introvert's nightmare. Please quit talking to me. I just want to buy my food and go home and not have to small talk. Also, I'm 33yrs old and spit out my birthdate in 2 seconds...but they still made me hike back to my car in the freezing cold and come back with my ID to buy a bottle of wine. This is only reflective of the deli portion where they make sandwiches and the manager Ingrid. My sandwich was so bad I drove all the way back here after getting home with the food. Horrible bread! Terrible! Falling apart stale!!! I spoke to Ingrid and she was unresponsive except to say their bread is fresh? WHAT? She didn't even look at it! Then she just handed me my money back and gave me a blank stare. Nothing. UGH I was so mad!
Only grocery store I'll shop at. Produce and meat is always on point. So are the items at the bakery. And the people who work there are really nice.
Always a great experience. Everyone is so helpful from the time you walk in until you check out.
I was disappointed that only one lane was open to use!! The other 2 lanes were for lesser items!! The cashier was extremely apologetic when I finally got up to her but I noticed a manager and other employees just walk by and look at the long line of folks waiting as the cashier was going as fast as she could!! They never offered to help her!! To make matters worse, most of the folks waiting were 50 years old and up!! Way to go at the 76yo gentleman employee that was bagging groceries, he works harder than the manager!!
I was really impressed tonight with all the bad things going on in the world I found out tonight that Publix donates it's items from every department to homeless organizations instead of marking down or trashing them. This is really awesome. Thank you
I love shopping at this Publix location. Service is always great. For example, yesterday I had my hands full at the check out counter with my toddler so Joe came over and unloaded my cart for me. Pat helped keep my daughter entertained while finishing my transaction and Daryl helped us out to the car with our groceries. There is nowhere else in Columbus with service like this!
