My friend went into your grocery store in Hickory and in employee should put her hand up an inch from her face and told her she cannot come in at this time because it was for people 65 and older. My friend looks young for her age but she is 68 years old and that girl was so rude to her and just cut her down and I’ll kinds of stuff until my friend pulled out her license and showed her that she has every right to be there cause she’s 68 years old. Being a former resident of Florida, always support and loved Publix. They have out grown their Supply chain.. Limiting a customer to two cans of veggies, means if they want veggies one meal a day, they have to go to the store every other day, especially when there is no shortage of canned veggies on the shelves! Does not make sense!! Go south down the street one mile and there are no limits, and plenty of stock?? Local management decision on this is Flawed!!
Disappointed in Publix’s. They quit putting their meat on sale. The meat department guy said well we don’t have much meat anyway. I said that’s why Lowe’s food is sold out. They still run their weekly specials on meat. Not the way to impress a new market. No blame to the employees just plan corporate greed.

How nice that a grocery still walks you out to your car without asking! The gentleman that helped me this morning was a true gift to this store.
A company who humiliates their employees shouldn't take so much pride in how "great" they are. Especially when that employee is 14 and made a mistake. A good leader would have corrected him and monitored his progress. instead of bullying him into tears and sending him home.
