This has been my Publix for almost 8 years. I am normally greeted by friendly staff as I make my way through the store and the cashiers are always extremely pleasant, until last night. I made the mistake of going through Kamrin’s line. She did not say one word to me, not a single word! She spoke to the boy who was bagging my groceries the entire time and used profanity as they talked. I feel a business didn’t provide a product/service as expected. The service was somewhat too slow, taking up more than expected. I’m annoyed and unhappy with the products/service. I brought this to Anita the Store Manager and she care less, what an attitude !! She and her employees failures to deliver what was promised, even product that doesn’t match its product description.

Never have I been treated as badly by any store as I have at Publix Halifax Plantation. Rude nasty cashiers with masks pulled down, won’t give the required 6 feet of space when paying. Tonight, this cashier Lincoln threw my receipt on the floor, walked to the courtesy counter and shouted across the store asking me if all the employees should leave the store so I can have my 6 feet of social distancing. I have been going to Publix since I was a child with my family in the early 1960's and this one at Roscommon Drive in Ormond Beach is the most poorly managed and run store I have ever shopped in whether it be grocery or other, Publix, Winn Dixie or other. It is often out of stock of the most common items, the milk and many other perishable items are often close to the expiration dates, the wait for deli products is interminable, the managers in the past would be smoking at the picnic table at the entrance to the store and so... read more
