RecommendedMy wife and I are visiting from the Pittsburgh area and we fortunately found that Publix was not a pharmacy as we both originally thought. We had not one but two unfortunate shopping issues with your neighboring Food Lion where the staff was inattentive and downright rude. When asked where something was one person told us "over there" pointing we believe a couple rows away and another time "I think isle 1" when we were in the middle of their store. We moved up from Florida a few years ago to the area and were so excited to see our beloved Publix was coming with us! With all that's going on with COVID-19 they continue to exceed our expectations!! They have someone standing at the entrance sanitizing your cart before handing it to you, every register and checkout point is sanitized after each customer, and someone is cleaning the shelves and wiping down door handles at all times. Thank you for all you do for your employees and customers!
I've always loved this store at Emerald Isle in particular but they really are going above and beyond during this COVID 19 outbreak. They have someone standing there personally sanitizing each cart for you, they are keeping their shelves stocked (the best that they can of course) and even with as much stress as the employees are going through, they are still friendly and helpful. You really feel like a little less anxious when you walk into this store.
Went to Publix this morning to get some water, ice and food for everyone working to clean up the damage from the tornado at Boardwalk RV Park. Not only did they donate (and deliver!) the water, but they went back and brought more ice when they saw the need! Plus they gave us a gift card for the food and donated baked goods. Thank you Thank you thank you Ana, Rey and everyone else who helped and showed so much kindness towards the people in the park who had lost so much!

This was my first time at a Publix and it was by far the best experience I have ever had in a grocery store. Every employee I passed greeted me and asked if I needed help looking for anything. Everyone was so kind. I will definitely be going back every time I need groceries.
Here we are in eastern NC dealing with the aftermath of hurricane Florence and not only does this Publix open with a full stock of produce, food, hot and cold subs and everything else they provide, they do it with a smile on their face. From the ladies at the sub station, to the checkouts and the baggers, they where all cheerful. They even offered to take our groceries to the car.
