I had to go to a doctor's appointment out of town. I arrived early and saw there was a Publix across the street so I decided to check it out since my son and his family have one in their town and do their shopping there. Was amazed at this store. Their worker's are all so nice. Store was extremely clean and prices were great. Stopped by the deli and got a to go plate to go. Having pancreatitis, and have to eat a low fat diet, they had a baked chicken that was fabulous along with two tasty vegetables. All I can say is I wish ... read more
Traveled there for the fantastic birthday cake selection. Also nabbed a few large bear claws.
Do normal people actually give reviews about supermarkets? That begs the question then - either I'm not normal (quite possibly true) or, in fact, this is a valid American pastime. Firstly, it's really hard to make a diffentiation between Publixes(sp?). They are a coroporate chain and they have their quality metrics and standards locked down across the board.
