Pretty bummed with the service at this pharmacy. First time trying them. Long story short, doctor sent my Rx over yesterday. Got a text that one of my two was ready yesterday — tech said the other would be ready at 2pm today. Called back today, now they said Monday. Not sure if this is normal for pharmacies, but a follow up to reset expectations or even an automated text would’ve been nice
I booked an appointment online for a vaccination with a 2 hour buffer. When I arrived, on time, I was told that they did not have the vaccine available, and that it was only available at 2 other stores. A different Publix associate behind the pharmacy counter made very snide remarks which were clearly audible enough that I heard her word for word. For 3 years the pharmist was wonderful, but Publix changes the employees every few years. I had a young pharmist who could not understand how it is to work with customers. He needs to learn empathy for his clients.
This is the most frustrating pharmacy I've ever been to. More than once I have started a new medication and it's been listed as "in progress" for days only to contact them and find out they allegedly contacted my doctor for necessary information. They don't inform me that's what I've been waiting on, and when I do follow up with my doctor's office, they'll inform me they never received the request. Multiple times this has happened. What pharmacy would take the extra time to search other coverage/discount options in order to save you (in my case) 40% off what you expected to pay for your meds? These guys did that today for me! That was awesome.
