I moved here recently. I shop at Publix because I have been going to them for 30 plus years. They are higher priced then most of the grocery stores in the surrounding area, but that was okay, because it was familiar for me. Last night I go in to shop, like I do 2-3 times a week. I always spend at least 100 bucks, so I consider myself a good customer. Best pharmacy in town! They’re fast, friendly and reasonably priced!
I can’t praise the staff at Publix pharmacy enough. For about 13 years I’ve used Walgreens pharmacy in Havelock until I moved to New Bern recently and switched to the one on Neuse Blvd. since the one on M.L.K. (which is closer to my house) closed. Since I’ve been using them, I haven’t been able to get my prescriptions within the same day and it’s always delayed. This is one of the very best pharmacies I have ever used. The workers are always pleasant, prompt, courteous, and go out of the way to help however they can. Even when they are so super busy they make you feel important .
Everyone is generally pretty nice but Sometimes I have to call several times before someone will pick up. If I let it ring for a long time it’s 50/50 if someone will pick up at all. They’re also a little bit more expensive than other pharmacies while using GoodRx.
